We carried the story of a long-established Ankara brand dating back to 1959 into the space: Figen Patisserie. As an example of patisserie design done right, we reinterpreted the brand's wide product range and warm hospitality in a contemporary spatial language, a perspective that guided all our design decisions.
Warmth and Trust in Patisserie Design
We reflected the brand's more than sixty-year history in the character of the space, using warm materials and inviting lighting to create an atmosphere suited both to daily visitors and to guests coming for special-occasion orders; in a patisserie, this kind of warmth directly strengthens the sense of trust in the brand. We placed the display and product presentation areas at the centre of the space and kept the materials and floor finishes consistent with this trustworthy identity.
A Layout for a Wide Product Range
For a brand offering a wide product range in one space, we designed a flexible seating layout with areas suited to both individual visitors and large groups, and planned the ordering and service flow around this variety. As Figen's own story shows, fresh, reliable service is the brand's core value, and we aimed to make it felt in every detail of the space, with lighting scenarios supporting this trustworthy identity.
We designed the display to highlight the freshness and variety of the products, with lighting planned to strengthen its effect, and kept a warm, intimate language in the seating areas.
