International Projects
Since 1993, CO Mimarlık has completed more than 400 projects, around 300 of them hospitality venues. 22 of our hospitality projects are abroad, mainly in the Netherlands and Germany, and we also have one hotel project in Europe. The international projects, featured on this page, cover restaurant, café and hotel spaces in Europe. That is why we address brand identity and local culture together in every project, and build each country's construction conditions into the design.
We first analyse the business's kitchen flow, guest profile and brand values. We also follow current design approaches through international publications like ArchDaily and others.
Restaurant and Café Projects in the Netherlands
The Netherlands accounts for the largest share of our international projects. For example, at Ada Restaurant, in Amsterdam, we made the canal view the star of the design, creating an elegant fine-dining atmosphere. Similarly, at the canal-side Florya Restaurant, we integrated the interior with the water through large glazed surfaces and open terraces. At Beyoğlu – Amsterdam, we created a warm café with timber textures and navy tones. Finally, we interpreted Meram Restaurant's five branches between 2009 and 2012 with a shared design language.
BeyMen's European Branches
For BeyMen, we have designed many branches in different European cities. For example, at BeyMen Steak, in Amsterdam, we brought together timber, brick and black metal, with a strong lighting scheme completing the character of the space. Similarly, at BeyMen Osdorp and BeyMen Rotterdam, we brought café and restaurant together under one roof. And at BeyMen Dortmund, we interpreted Turkish restaurant culture in a contemporary language.
Projects in Germany
In Germany, we design hospitality projects as well as restaurants. At Provia Hotel, in Heiligenhaus, we brought hotel comfort together with the warmth of home; the project offers a prestigious accommodation alternative for the area.

Which countries have you worked in abroad?
We have designed 23 projects in Europe, mainly in the Netherlands and Germany; 22 of them are hospitality venues and one is a hotel project. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Dortmund and Heiligenhaus are among the cities.
How do you support brands that want to open a Turkish restaurant abroad?
We present Turkish culinary culture to guests in that country in a contemporary language. We have worked with this approach at the European branches of BeyMen, the five branches of Meram Restaurant, in the Netherlands, and Ada Restaurant, in Amsterdam.
Are the furniture and lighting shipped from Türkiye?
In the partial turnkey model, we have the furniture, decorative elements and custom lighting manufactured in Türkiye, then export them and deliver them installed. BeyMen Dortmund and BeyMen Steak Amsterdam was completed with this model.
How do you work with local teams on site?
Site works are carried out by local teams in that country, and we coordinate to make sure the design is built correctly. This way we comply with local regulations and working practices while protecting the quality of the design.
How is the timeline planned for international projects?
The design phase runs much as it does for projects in Türkiye, while the construction period depends on how local teams work, so we plan the schedule separately for each project. Details are on our Restaurant Design page.
Are site surveys abroad charged?
Yes, site surveys abroad are charged. However, all meetings at our office are free; we can first review your project together online or at our office.
Do you take on projects in other European countries?
Yes. We are open to new projects across Europe. We can hold the first meeting online or at our office in Kadıköy and define the scope of your project together. You can reach us through our contact page.
