A New Approach to Café Architecture in İzmir
The world of 6:45 expands through different spatial experiences. We designed this İzmir café architectural design project as part of that world, although it was not built. With 6:45 Standart Coffee we reinterpreted the brand's distinctive character, this time through coffee culture. The brand feeds on rock'n'roll, the city and youth culture, and we turned this original language into an experience that accompanies the different rhythms of the day. In this project, we created a warm, dynamic atmosphere that reflects the brand's original character.
Material and Detail Choices in Café Architecture
We used strong graphic expressions in the space, along with typographic surfaces and geometric floors, adding warm timber textures and characteristic lighting to build the brand's energetic, original identity. We also included different seating arrangements, work areas and social meeting points, diversifying the coffee experience beyond a single way of use.
A Space for Every Hour of the Day
At the heart of the design is a key idea: carrying 6:45's night-time culture into the other hours of the day. We made Standart Coffee more than a place to drink coffee: a living space for working, meeting, creating and spending time, open to changing experiences. This approach directly reflects our thinking on café architecture.
İzmir Café Architectural Design: Solutions Specific to the Project
The İzmir project is another design we prepared for the 6:45 Standart Coffee series, so we stayed true to the architectural language developed for the other locations while responding to İzmir's own character. The result is a café that suits the local character while reflecting the brand's strong identity. This project reflects the design vision we maintain across the 6:45 Standart Coffee branches as a whole. Finally, in our other restaurant and café projects too, we create spatial solutions specific to each brand's identity with the same design care. In the İzmir project, we blended the same original identity with the area's own spatial dynamics, designing a café experience for every hour of the day through flexible seating and a lighting scheme that adapts to different scenarios. This flexibility is at the heart of our restaurant and café interior design approach.
