A Take on Turkish Cuisine in Amsterdam Steakhouse Design
In this steak restaurant design in Amsterdam project, we brought the food culture of Turkish cuisine together with a contemporary approach. BeyMen Steakhouse & Cafe, with its warm and inviting atmosphere, offers a restaurant experience with strong character. We brought together natural timber, brick, black metal and a strong lighting scheme to create a space that is both warm and full of character.
Steak Restaurant Design in Amsterdam: Materials and Identity
With industrial details, graphic expressions and a rich use of materials, we carried the brand's energetic identity into the space, giving it a character that is both modern and warm. We carefully balanced light and materials, aiming for an atmosphere where guests enjoy spending a long time. In choosing materials, we kept to the identity the brand shares with its other branches in the Netherlands and Germany, while striking a balance that suits Amsterdam's urban fabric.
Steak Restaurant Design in Amsterdam: A Social Meeting Place
We designed BeyMen Steakhouse not just as a place that serves food, but as a social space open to different experiences. In the evening it becomes a busy meeting point; at lunchtime it offers a calmer dining experience. This flexibility lets the space appeal to different guests at every hour, making it suitable for both business lunches and evening get-togethers.
Design Decisions Specific to Amsterdam
In designing this steak restaurant, we took Amsterdam's cosmopolitan character into account and planned the space to appeal to both local and international guests. The result is a space that preserves the strong identity of the BeyMen brand while fitting the spirit of Amsterdam, a balance that speaks to both a local and a global audience. The project shows once again that the brand can maintain a consistent identity in different countries. BeyMen Steakhouse & Cafe is an independent Dutch restaurant brand and has no connection with the Istanbul-based fashion brand of the same name.
