Located in Çalış, Fethiye, Limon Lokal is an example of Mediterranean restaurant design that draws its story from the abundance of Lycia and local lemon growing. We took the original story of this brand, which supports local producers and embraces zero-waste production, as the starting point of the design.
Materials and Light in Mediterranean Restaurant Design
We carried the brand's spirit into the space by reinterpreting the airy character of the Mediterranean in a contemporary architectural language, using natural materials, a light colour palette and a layout that receives plenty of daylight. This captured the airy, intimate atmosphere expected of a Mediterranean restaurant. In this process, we shaped our restaurant interior design decisions together with the brand's story. As a global movement supporting local production and sustainability also points out, reflecting authentic food culture in the space is becoming increasingly important in restaurant design today. This approach matches Limon Lokal's philosophy directly, and we kept the materials consistent with this airy character.
Sustainability and Local Production
We supported the brand's zero-waste approach in spatial terms too, choosing recyclable and local materials and adopting a simple, honest design language. This way the brand's values are expressed not only in words but through the space itself, and guests feel this consistency as soon as they walk in. Indoor plants bring the greenery of the Mediterranean inside, and floor and wall textures keep the warmth of natural materials.
We planned Limon Lokal's seating areas to offer an experience that is both intimate and airy, with options for groups of different sizes, and let daylight give the space a different character at every hour. You can explore similar work on our restaurant and café projects page. We carried the same airy language through to the outdoor seating areas.

Discover the brand's own world of flavour — for those who want to get to know it more closely, the space offers an experience beyond design. In short, the project is a tangible example of turning an authentic brand's story into space, a story every guest feels from the moment they step inside.
