LENA'S offers a new approach to wedding venue interior design in İncek, Ankara. The CO Mimarlık team completed the project in 2016 in an area full of wedding and event venues, deliberately moving away from the traditional hall. Since then, LENA'S has been a notable example in the area.
Material and Atmosphere Choices in Wedding Venue Interior Design
The design team did not choose the classic white-and-gold wedding hall aesthetic. Instead, it aimed for a warm, intimate, youthful atmosphere and achieved it through material choices.
Brick cladding added an industrial texture, timber surfaces strengthened the sense of warmth, and warm lighting and wrought-iron balustrades met this texture. Every material serves the overall atmosphere and sets the hall apart from classic examples, giving it an original, characterful identity. A New Generation of Event Venue
The design takes the wedding hall beyond a purely ceremonial space: LENA'S speaks to a new generation of celebrations, where guests feel at ease. The hall adapts flexibly to civil ceremonies, henna nights and private events, hosting different occasions throughout the year and meeting different expectations under one roof. In short, the project aims to create a warm, contemporary social space.
The wedding and event sector in İncek is highly competitive, so LENA'S responds to the search for a distinctive identity. The design team supported the interior with a lighting scenario suited to day and night use, and used brick and timber together on the façade, making the hall stand out from outside too.
Likewise, wrought-iron details form a recurring motif throughout the space, giving the hall a coherent visual language; every detail was shaped with this unity in mind.
