A NEW COFFEE SHOP IN ACIBADEM DESIGN APPROACH
The world of 6:45 expands through different spatial experiences, and the Acıbadem coffee shop design was also conceived as part of that world. Here we reinterpreted the distinctive character of the 6:45 Standart Coffee brand through coffee culture. The brand draws its inspiration from rock'n'roll, the city and youth culture, and we turned this original language into an experience that accompanies the different rhythms of the day. The result is a more everyday, social spatial experience.
Architectural Language and Material Choices in the Acıbadem Coffee Shop
We approached each location with a different architectural interpretation. In these cafés we used strong graphic expressions, typographic surfaces and geometric details, adding warm materials and characteristic lighting to reinterpret the brand's energetic identity. We also introduced different seating arrangements, work areas and social meeting points, diversifying the coffee experience beyond a single way of use. This reflects the current standards set by the global coffee industry too: designers now conceive coffee venues as multi-functional social spaces. As a result, we built a design language that can be repeated in every branch yet never becomes monotonous. This brand-specific approach is the foundation of our café and restaurant interior design service.
An Acıbadem Coffee Shop Designed for Every Hour of the Day
At the heart of the design is a key idea: carrying 6:45's night-time culture into the other hours of the day. Standart Coffee thus became more than a café for drinking coffee; it became a living space for working, meeting, creating and spending time. We designed it as a social space that changes and stays open to different experiences: a calm place to work in the morning, a place to socialise in the afternoon, and in the evening a meeting point that reflects the energetic spirit of 6:45. In short, we adopted a flexible layout.
Solutions Specific to the Acıbadem Branch
The Acıbadem branch is our third project for 6:45 Standart Coffee after the Bolu branch, opened in 2023, and the unbuilt İzmir project. We stayed true to the design language developed in Bolu and İzmir while responding to the character of the neighbourhood: a glazed façade, warm timber textures and the brand's signature lighting details. The result is a space that conveys the same strong identity at neighbourhood scale.
The Visitor Experience in Acıbadem
We also created a layout suited to Acıbadem's busy mix of work and living, offering different seating scenarios both for individuals dropping in for a morning coffee and for groups coming for meetings. Finally, in our other restaurant and café projects too, as in this Acıbadem café project, we create spatial solutions specific to each brand's identity.
