Inspired by the long history of the Düveroğlu brand, born in 1963, this Düveroğlu kebab restaurant design reinterprets the lines and forms of the era when the brand was born with a contemporary spatial approach; this was the project's fundamental starting point.
Düveroğlu Kebab Restaurant Design: Where Past Meets Present
We brought traces of the period's design language together with today's living and usage needs, building a strong bond between the brand's past and present. Familiar lines and forms meet new materials within a contemporary spatial layout, creating an original, timeless restaurant atmosphere. As a global movement supporting authentic food culture also notes, preserving the identity of a long-established brand is gaining importance in today's design practice. We kept the materials, floor and wall textures consistent with this deep-rooted identity; the balance of timber and metal details supports this unity, and textured surfaces give the space warmth and character, shaping the first impression guests have as they walk in.
Düveroğlu's Identity Since 1963
While preserving Düveroğlu's identity going back to 1963, we designed a space that carries the design traces of the past into today's restaurant experience, so the brand can exist in a contemporary language in its new branch without losing its deep-rooted story. The lighting uses a warm language that supports this historical reference, and the seating, tables and chairs strike a balance between traditional and modern. In this Düveroğlu restaurant project in Ümitköy, CO Mimarlık developed an original space that interprets the brand's more than 60-year history in a contemporary architectural language, bringing a deep-rooted story and today's restaurant experience together under one roof, a timeless balance guests feel the moment they step inside and the project's most distinctive quality. Over time, this branch will build its own character like the brand's other venues, carrying Düveroğlu's story to new generations with the same warmth.
