Stir&Sir in Chișinău is a warm, inviting example of coffee venue design in Moldova. We brought timber surfaces, woven pendant lights and deep green tones together in one space, creating an original layout that supports the coffee experience. Light, timber and rhythmic forms are the basis of this layout, while decorative wall treatments give the space a coherent visual language.
Coffee Venue Design in Moldova: Colour and Texture
We used a deep green on the walls, giving the space a deep, calm feel, with round gold-toned wall details adding rhythm to the green surface. Timber ceiling forms and woven pendant lamps add a natural texture, and patterned floor tiles strike a strong balance with the warm tones, creating an intimate yet characterful atmosphere.
Seating Areas and Coffee Bar
Different seating areas bring movement to the space: mustard banquettes and petrol-green chairs meet timber tables, suiting both quick breaks and long conversations. The coffee bar stands out with its arched shelf niches, plants provide a natural backdrop to the seating areas, and illuminated lettering on the wall and the staircase give the venue a playful identity.
Façade and Evening Light
The green-awninged façade makes the venue inviting from the street, glazing carries the warm interior light outside, and planters soften the entrance. In the evening, pendant lights give the façade a lively glow, making the coffee venue memorable from outside as well.
Our Approach to Coffee Venue Design in Moldova
Every coffee venue calls for a different solution depending on its brand and location. That is why we first analyse the target audience and operational flow, then plan the concept, materials and lighting, and finally follow construction closely, keeping the budget in view throughout.
