An Original Take on Horse Farm Architecture
Horse farm architecture is the field of Tankut Y. House, designed in Kemalpaşa, Bursa, for a private life lived close to nature and with horses. This prestigious horse farm revisits the characteristic elements of English country house and farm architecture with a contemporary interpretation.
The warmth of natural brick and the rich texture of timber stand out, accompanied by dark metal details and a strong entrance sequence. Together, these elements combine the timeless aesthetic of traditional English architecture with modern comfort. Inside, we used extensive woodwork, while high ceilings and bespoke details give farm life a sophisticated atmosphere.
A Country House Identity Meeting the Natural Landscape of Bursa
CO Mimarlık brought the character of English country house architecture together with the natural landscape of Kemalpaşa, Bursa, designing an original horse farm that combines a love of horses, life in harmony with nature and a high level of comfort. This approach also aligns with the international design tradition of English country architecture, offering an architectural language that blends tradition with a contemporary way of life.
The materials chosen for the façade support this language: natural brick and timber used together give a look that is both traditional and durable. The landscaping around the farm makes the building one seamless whole with the natural terrain. This holistic approach creates a functional layout in which the owner can live day to day alongside the horses.
An Identity Where Nature and Architecture Intertwine

The project creates long-term value both architecturally and as a way of life; holistic projects like this form the foundation of CO Mimarlık's identity.
