PASTANNECİM, which we designed in Dudullu, Istanbul, is a warm, cheerful example of patisserie interior design that brings the warmth of timber together with colourful seating. Completed in 2017, it created an inviting, memorable patisserie. A patisserie interior should not just look beautiful; the space should also bring to mind the taste of the products.
Patisserie Interior Design: Balancing Timber and Colour
Here we chose timber cladding as the main material, while turquoise and pink chairs bring lively energy to the room. A round logo sign brings the brand identity to the centre of the shopfront, and warm light brings out the tones of the timber. The right colour balance plays a decisive role in whether guests love a space.
Display and Product Presentation
The display is the heart of a patisserie. Here, timber-clad display cases and shelves put the products forward, with warm light bringing their colours to life, so guests see the variety on offer from the entrance. The shelves both display products and give the wall a vertical rhythm, and a timber staircase adds character; every detail supports the brand's warm, trustworthy face.
Seating and Façade Details
A timber-batten façade gives the patisserie an inviting face to the street. Inside, seating groups adapt to different crowds, and a patterned wall surface enlivens the background. We planned walking distances around the service flow, so staff work comfortably and guests don't feel cramped even when it's busy, helping everyone feel at ease.
An Original Approach to Patisserie Interior Design
In every project we first listen to the brand and its customers, then assess the product range, the conditions of the space and the budget. With this, we build the concept, choose the materials and follow construction, so the space the owner dreamt of becomes reality. For a patisserie owner, the space is the brand's first impression, which is why we resolve every detail with care.

For restaurant interior designers like us, the display and service counter are the most critical decisions in a patisserie too.
