Agapi, which we designed in Ankara, is a warm, timeless example of fish restaurant design in İncek. Natural stone, timber and ceramic details form the main language of the space, generous openings bring daylight into the dining room, and green plants complete this natural language, making Agapi an inviting, peaceful meeting place.
Fish Restaurant Design in İncek: Stone, Timber and Ceramics
We left the natural stone exposed on the walls, chose timber beams for the ceiling and used warm-toned timber on the floor. Blue-and-white ceramic plates on the walls add a light Aegean touch to the heavy texture of the stone, while turquoise chairs bring a fresh colour to the room, so warm and cool tones form a balanced whole. These materials create a lasting atmosphere that does not date.
Dining Room, Wine Niches and Private Corners
We divided the dining room into areas suited to different groups: long tables make room for large gatherings, while tables by the windows offer a quieter setting. Wine bottles are displayed in niches in the stone wall, a private table with burgundy chairs adds a striking accent, and a timber dresser and consoles bring a homely warmth. Chandeliers and pendant lights give a warm glow in the evening, so the room takes on a different character throughout the day.
Terrace, Curtains and Sunset
The terrace became the restaurant's most striking area. A timber pergola and sheer curtains soften the seating area and balance the light as it changes through the day, so guests can enjoy the sunset in comfort, while large glazed surfaces keep the view open. Lit tables create an intimate atmosphere in the evening. In short, the terrace combines dining with the view.
